BUDD cars (manufactured by Budd) with fluted roofs are everywhere and very
common. PULLMAN cars (manufactured by Pullman) with Pullman fluted roofs
are.......(scarce to rare to nonexistent)....?????
Jamie says that PULLMAN purchased and used some BUDD roofs for a few special
cars where the RR customer wanted an exact match to BUDD roofs. But that is
not the same as a "PULLMAN fluted roof" which is what my orginal question was
about.
Still looking for a photo of a "Pullman fluted roof".
