The Scenery UnLimited cars were resin versions of the Kinsman wood kit versions. They appear to be very nice cars (I've got one Kinsman and two Scenery UnLimited kits, all unbuilt). They came in either open or closed vestibule versions.
I recall there were some much earlier kits with etched copper sides for longer wood sided heavyweights. I'm pretty sure the AM heavyweight cars could be modified into wood sided cars with sanding and scribed styrene. The AM heavyweight diner is actually based on a wood car with replacement metal sides.
