All,

According to Dick and a few others my Bobber Caboose is a Super Scale copper
kit. It is a bit more of a kit now once I touched it! It has a wood floor
but pretty much everything else is metal of 1 kind or another. I will
probably replace the wood floor with brass sheet.

I tried to make a bobber when I was 12.
http://www.lanestrains.com/About_Me_Photos/Bobber_Caboose.jpg I think it was
a Canadian National from a MR plan at the time. Back then the
suspension/journal boxes were too much for me to make. In reference to
others wanting a Bobber.. I have long wanted the PRR ND. BTS has had that
listed as "in production" for quite some time.

Making the suspension/journal boxes now is very possible if someone wants it
bad enough. It would be expensive! I would only want them to be brass.
Contact me directly if you are curious and serious about possibly doing a
bobber as a co-op project. We could copy the Super Scale kit. Let's see how
long it takes for me to hear from the heirs of Super Scale with a cease and
desist order of my proposed pirating ways..

Thank You,
Bill Lane
