Hi Ed:
I haven't got my cars glued together yet but test fitting them, the hopper
section seems to fit nicely on the bottom sectio so it's flush with the
bottom so the rain would run off. Having seen these critters in the wild,
that's how they appear.
What's stopped me, besides too many other projects, is figuring how much
weight to add. I think the cars are too light as is.
cheers

Subject: {S-Scale List} S gauge NSC Cylindrical hopper

Hello,

When test fitting the underframe into the bottom of the car, do the bottom
sides of the body fit into the large grooves of the underframe or do they
fit into the small ridges on the side of the underframe? It seems as though
the body will have to be squeezed tighter or spread wider in either case. Is
this correct? Other than the above question, the remainder of the directions
seem pretty clear and easy to read. This appears to be a fine kit and I look
forward to trying to do it justice. Thank you.
