hey jace, plastics are polymers, the same molecule arranged in a very long 
chain, like 10,000. heat and pressure breaks the chains down which ruins the 
good properties, so they can only be recyled once or twice without becoming 
weak/brittle. dale, veteran of 33 years in the plastics industry.
