Friends Dean and Gary came over. Dean repaired a switch, Gary installed MRC
S decoders in a RS-3 and a GP-9. Finally enough DCC locos to run an operating
session before the end of the year.
We erected a removable, British style, 8 foot long sector table at the end of
the St. Charles yard which will act as a 3 train staging yard. My neighbors
have asked if I'll ever be done sawing plywood outdoors?
Dean and Gary got another RS-3 that had been running poorly humming along.
Friends make this a great hobby. I put down ground cover in the St. Charles
yard. Cinder ballast to follow. What's up with others?
