Tom,

Like I said before, If WE don't let Lionel know what we want they will never
build it. Scale wheels would be nice but Lionelneeds to know. they don't read
this list like everyone thinks they do. They don't read it, They don't give a
hootwhat we ramble on here about. My honest opionion, on the mater.

 Thanks,

Hey, that photo makes the U33C look pretty good. I recommend a moratorium on
further criticism until the item actually comes forth from its maker. Meanwhile
back at the ranch, we could discuss modeling.

Tone it down.

Ok here is a link to a small picture of the U33C. The swinging steps are
barely visible in this picture. Other than that it looks fine IMHO. A
simple shim between the frame and steps should line up the coupler pockets.
If it doesn't have scale wheels on the unit in the picture, the scale wheels
will look very nice then. Lionel does have good paint job on their engines
and the NP unit looks good to me. So not to stir up the bees nest on the
subject but here is what they are offering. Just remember, AM models have
issues that require work to bring up to scale standards. Even SHS pilots
have bigger than necessary holes for the AF coupler. I will say that I have
two coming and I think they are a very good starting point for the U33C,
just as AM's U25B is a good starting point.
