Well gang, I emailed Lionel and asked them specifically if the U33C drive was
going to be with a single horizontal motor driving both trucks or with twin
vertical motors.
Here is their response:
"Sorry for the inconvenience - but production does not share until it comes out
on the shelf and we have the engine to tear down and create a parts list.
Everything is subject to change during production."
So, seeing that according to Doug Peck mentioned on the Flyer side of the board
the U33C is now pushed back to early next year (Apparently, they're still
having trouble shoehorning the electronics in...) we get a couple of more
months to speculate and pontificate.
