I do have 50' Apex/Blaw-Knox etched brass running boards available for $5 per
set. These can be cut down to fit 40' quite easily. I had also made up
lateral extensions in urethane to complement the PRS 40' Morton running board
(round holes, only offered on their reefer.) I don't know how many of the PRS
parts I might have on hand, as my Standard Railway Castings Company has been
dormant for so long, but I am sure I could scare up some of the laterals, as
well as the Morton brake steps I included in my mold. There was even a Gypsum
(expanded metal with diamond holes,) brake step that was needed for one of my
box car kits. Making that pattern was so tedious, I never followed with the
running board.
