Just a guess Bill, but I think when fellow S scalers see someone willing to
produce an item not offered in "S" scale before the pent up frustrations with
lack of "S" product comes flowing out.

A new "S" manufacturer thinking outside the box is an exciting prospect. I'm
sure forum members are hoping lightning will strike twice and they get a model
they've wanted for a long time. I'm sure no one is trying to dilute the
excitement of the speeder announcement, just trying to plant a seed for a
future model.

I hope the speeder becomes a reality. The price range sounds right as almost
anyone can justify the cost, every railroad used them so they have wide appeal,
and they have that "cute" factor that should carry it over the top.
