                                Join Historic Transport Preservation, Inc.
(Steam Specials), the East Broad Top Railroad, and the Strasburg Rail Road for
a pair of winter photo specials.

East Broad Top: It's been over 30 years since
the East Broad Top hosted itsWinter Spectacular. Join us for the first winter
operations since 1981!

DATE: Thursday, February 9, 2012. The day will
begin with opportunities to photograph 2-8-2 no. 15 being prepped for the day's
service, and conclude with a night photo session. We'll use multiple consists
during the day.

Schedule details will be provided to
participants.

COST: $375. Only 40 tickets available. See
combo price below for attending both events. Click HERE to sign up.

DEADLINE: We need 35 paid participants by
December 31, 2011 to make this trip viable.

IN ADDITION: if we get sufficient
participation to confirm this trip as operating and non-refundable, we
anticipate that the East Broad Top will be operating its own public winter
operations on Sunday, February 12. We encourage you to consider signing up for
this event if and when it is announced.

Strasburg: Our goal is to showcase
snowclearing activities - both human and mechanical - if we have sufficient
snow, then operate a special freight train. If we have no snow, we'll operate
a freight train all day. If it takes all day to clear the right of way, there
may be less time to operate the freight train.

                                DATE: Friday - Saturday, February 10-11, 2012.
On Friday evening, we'll feature a night photo session centered around J Tower,
featuring several human interest scenes. On Saturday, we anticipate operating
two consists. We hope to start the day by clearing the right of way using
Strasburg's Russell Snow Plow 66, powered by 2-10-0 no. 90. Once the line is
clear, we'll feature Norfolk & Western 4-8-0 no. 475 on a freight consist. No.
475 will debut a new look - its headlight will be be centered on the smokebox
door for the first time since 1957.

Schedule details will be provided to
participants.
