FYI for yahoo account holders.

Recent reports from reputable sources indicate that cyber attackers have
targeted Yahoo! email accounts.

Simply opening and reading a message in a web browser while on your work (or
home) computer can provide the adversary with access to your Yahoo! account,
and the potential to further exploit any system you use to access that account.
Cyber Threat Bulletin
Advanced persistent threat (APT) actors are continuing to target personal
accounts due to the inherent weaknesses in web-based email and the opportunity
they present to gain access to work systems.
Recent reports from reputable sources indicate that Yahoo! has been targeted.
Simply opening and reading a message in a web browser while on your work or
home computer can provide the adversary with access to your Yahoo! account, and
the potential to further exploit any system you use to access that account.
To see if your Yahoo! account has been compromised, you can check these account
settings.
Check your last login location:
1. Log in to your Yahoo account
2. Edit Account Info (typically found on the upper-left corner under Hi
[your name])
3. Under Sign-in and Security: View your recent login activity
4. You can view by IP Address or by Location
Check that your alternate email address and password reset options have not
been changed.
1. While viewing your Account Info as described above, verify (under the
Contact Information section) that your alternate (or secondary) email address
is correct
2. Verify (under Update Password-Reset Info) that the password reset options
are set correctly
Check your email forwarding rule:
1. In Yahoo! Mail
2. In the upper-left corner of your Mail page, select Options, then Mail
Options.
3. From the list on the left, click Forwarding.
4. Check setting for "Forward your Yahoo! Mail" (Note: This option is
typically not available to basic Yahoo! email accounts)

Subject: {S-Scale List} Re: 1927 ART wood reefer

There is no good reason for this list to not allow attachments, and several
good reasons that it should. Allowing them will run all attachments through
Yahoo servers rather than individual computers, reducing download times and
increasing security, since Yahoo likely has more up to date anti-virus software
than most individuals. It will also put the attachments in an album folder
similar to "Photos" and will link the attachment to it's message swo you can
find either one from the other. When the list first started, attachments were a
problem for many with dial-up connections, but Yahoo addressed those issues
years ago. C'mon Bill, make the switch...
