At this point it would be interesting to see how much progress had been 
made on the prior attempt of a couple of years ago.  I didn't have one 
on order so I don't recall the name off hand.

It also might be worth a try to see what the old time slot cars used--I 
had some of the larger models but I think it was Aurora, Tyco and 
perhaps dozens of others were somewhat between HO and S in size.  Of 
course that might lend more credence to the term-=-speeder!
