There is a firm (I think in Colorado? Vintage Reproductions?) that sells interesting odds and ends, including pounce wheels selected for appropriate rivet spacing. I've got a couple of highish-tech rivetting devices (NWSL and Precision) that I keep promising myself to learn to use... Sort of like imagining that if only I got a better-quality banjo, I would be a good banjo player.
