Hi Bud and all --

I have been known to use a flat file to reduce flange size, doing my best to 
round it off after reducing height.   I recently had to do that for a pair of 
Omnicon 2-8-0s when their end driver pairs and center driver pairs rubbed 
flanges.   Only the center pairs were reduced!!

Rich, Beautiful looking engine! Even I, as an eastern road modeler, would love 
one of these if it had scale flanges. Looks so much better than the 18'high 
Flyonel Big Boy.
