Anywhere in PA S Scalers are scattered around.

I belong to the Susquehanna S Gaugers, an informal group that meets in
various homes with layouts every couple months and does a Steam Up where
anyone can set their trains up and run them on the floor of a warehouse.

Site is http://susquehannasgaugers.com/

The site also has links to other PA groups.

Lock Haven has an all scales club in an old train station.

PA is a good place to retire to because they don't tax pensions and
retirement income like 401(k)s and IRAs. That plus having grown up in
Lock Haven is why we moved back.

Panera is in Williamsport, 23 miles and State College, 33 miles.

For serious bookstores you have State College and the Paterno Library
plus the local college has one and there are others, maybe not to your
standards

Can't tell you too much about groups of Marines but I am sure there are
a bunch. We just did a Medal of Honor ceremony for one at the 9-11
traveling tribute that was in town in September plus several other medal
ceremonies.

We also have the East Coast Onshore Powerboat Regionals every Labor Day
and are the historic home of Piper Aircraft and the Piper Museum if you
are interested in either.

Let me know if you want any other information.
