It seems that Faller doesn't push the system in North America, maybe because
most of the vehicles are German. There are some items listed in the Walthers
2012 HO catalog, which means they should be easy to order. There was an
article in MR about an editor adding a bus route some time ago, but even that
didn't seem to generate more interest.

Subject: Re: {S-Scale List} Faller Car System in S

I have been on the lookout for information. I did not see any info on the
Faller cars at the NMRA convention or National Train Show in Sacramento.
Maybe it was there and I overlooked it. The wonderful HO modular club from
Canada had some Faller vehicles in operation. I think these guys had some
electronic wizards in their group. I have wondered why there has not been
more promotion in the U.S. market.

I recently looked at a new video of the Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg,
Germany, and I was wondering if anyone has adapted the Faller Car System to
S? I would think the easiest way would be to adapt the HO mechanism to an S
scale vehicle. If you notice, they run the vehicles so much that the tires
leave rubber marks on the pavement.
