I suspect that the proto4 drivers will function, the question would be if the 
spoke count and size were correct for your S engine. Certainly worth checking. 
This is also a possible problem with British made parts, that the wheel designs 
don't match U.S. practice. Finding a Overland USRA engine is a reasonable 
alternative. If you ask around enough you might find someone with an old S 
Scale Locomotive and Supply kit for the USRA pacific as well, probably for less 
than the Overland built up version. They do turn up on ebay once in a while.
