On the contrary, I like the yellow.  T he color and the car, even without
lettering, are the spitting image of a transfer car used in a local branch of
Weyerhauser which I used to deliver products to on a daily basis.  When I saw
the BTS model, I thought I was looking at a mirror of that car.  I have photos
of that car if anyone would like copies of them.

And by the way... what is the car's underframe and other parts  made of?  I may
want one.

As posted to this list on Nov 25 about the color.....

Sorry, you do not like the yellow.   I had planned to paint it boxcar
red per the SRR prototype, but decided the brighter color would show off
the details better.   So I chose the UP yellow for my car since I had
seen an HO version in UP color that looked nice.   Not being able to
prove that the UP had that car and not finding any prototype photo
referenced, I decided to put the car photos up before lettering it
UP.      I have had several folks tell me they did not like the colors I
choose for various other models, but never had one not buy the unpainted
kit because of my personal color choice.

Take care
Bill
