Hi Bob; RMJ is on-line at the Train Life site, along with Model Railroading.
Mainline Modeler is still MIA. Assuming some kind of 45 degree mount, it would be better than some large set of copied plans. Just a couple of years ago, we talked about scanning all the interesting pages for our private use. It just proves that some of us are just a little ahead of the curve in the "wanting" department but somewhat shy on the follow-up. I wish Kalmbach luck in making this successful, and perhaps the owners of former magazines (Mainline, RMJ, etc.) will do the same thing or arrange for it. This is another possible win-win situation. Hundaman (Mainline) could reap some financial rewards and serve a whole new mass of readers. I couldn't afford to buy all those magazines when they were being published not to mention reading them all--besides we all forget so many things, it would be nice to just request them from your puter without digging under the layout for all those boxes. Anything of interest can be tagged and filed for easy quick reference. There's nothing to "wade through" anyway, since you can search the text. I can assure you that many things that I considered "crap" when I was 20, 30, and 40 are of great interest to me today.
