Jim,

The 1/8th sheets offered by Model Builders in Aurora are very close to S Scale.
Given their proximity to me I went to their storefront and I bought one sheet
of their 1/4 inch sheets and one each of their 1/8th inch regular and rough
brick sheets and then measured them. The 1/8th in. ones are very close to the
standard size of North American bricks which is 8/4/2.25 inches. I, too, am
looking for bricks, as I need to scratchbuild a number of buildings as found on
my modelling subject. I think these will work well.

Cheers.

Hi Stan:

The photos of the sheets look pretty good.  I suspect the end result will have
a lot to do with how well the modeller paints and weathers  the material.  What
intrigues me about this company is that they offer sheets in 1/6th scale...very
close to OO and a lot closer to S than the 1/8th and 1/4 inch scale sheets
offered by the architectural supplier I was looking at here in Canada.  If I
were you, I'd send away for a couple of sheets to experiment with.  The 15"
square sheets will produce a decently large building in S without having to
worry about butt joints along the side.  I've got a couple of structure
projects coming up, so I'm going to bookmark this company and take a closer
look myself.

Thanks
Jim Martin

Has anyone had any experience with this product
line?

This
is apparently vacuum-formed plastic sheet. I've found pictures of large
scale projects that look good. I was wondering how the material looks in
the smaller scales. Some of the similar stuff from Plastruct is not very
sharp, and these sheets are larger.
