One of the neatest ideas coming out of all this Kadee coupler talk is the
idea of placing a little bit of silicone in the box that holds the spring. 

What a great idea, never ever thought of that and I've been at this for 50
years.

I presently use Kadee 802 and SHS coupler's on my equipment. 

The Kadee 5 couplers are okay too, especially if you have a flat layout.

They all work together just fine.
