Hi Bryan,

It's an excellent running model!  Smooth, quite and powerful.  I own one and 
have owned and sold others in the past and they all ran equally well. One of 
the most beautiful models in "S" scale IMHO. 

The reason for the "good prices" as you say has more to do with the economy 
than anything else. It's a depressed market and all brass models in all gauges 
are experiencing the same thing. 

A major brass house just sold about 7-8 new RRM Turbines owned my one customer 
along with a huge collection of other "S" brass locos and rolling stock. The 
prices were very good and had to be to move this amount of models quickly. 

So, if you find one of these Turbines at a good price don't be concerned about 
the running qualities of this model. Obviously, if its a used model you need to 
make sure it hasn't been abused.
