Construction and scenery work continues in Castle Rock Canyon and I'm making
headway. Over the years, I've constructed HO and O layouts using newspaper
(rolled up) and WS plastercloth over the top and usually something on top of
that to give texture and a finished look.
I traded for rolls of medical supply plastercloth and now I'm nearly thru that.
The thought of buying WS at $10 a roll makes me ill.
So...I have more canyon work to do and then do a small bit of Glenwood Canyou,
so I'm wondering what your favorite technique is and then to finish it; do you
carve rock? Use joint compound?
Maybe I can find a medical supply house to sell me the stuff at a better price.
Or...I'm beginning to think paper towels and plaster might be the same thing.
Your thoughts please?
Thanks!
