. . . . . there are no scale wheels in the [U33C] box as Lionel advertised
in their catalog. Several folks have now called Lionel as mentioned on page
24 of the manual. . . . . . . . . . . . . .

And on page 24 it says you want ext 9105. All that gets you is a voice that
says "invalid extension." You want ext 2 to get the live person who says
"call back next month."

Their instruction have been to call back on February 1st. Even if you are
not going to run your loco for awhile, don't forget to procure them. I doubt
Lionel ran enough wheels for every U33 they had made and when Lionel parts
are gone, they can be gone for a long time.

Next, S Scale America SD45s. It's looking better. We will be at the Amherst
show in West Springfield, MA next week and will have samples of its current
progress. I'll bring extra parts so folks can see how the different detail
variations are done.

Also, the toy box will have samples of the X29 in a couple different
variations. If the moon and the stars are in perfect alignment, there might
be a CGW version in there with a CRECO door as well. If it doesn't
disappear, it will be sent to Ken Zieska for inspection. Samples of the
Fowler boxcar will be shown as well. Jim Kindraka saw the Fowler progress
here over the weekend and I think he especially liked the Z bracing.

We will probably also bring a boatload of U-boats as well as the usual S
Scale America fare and some of our HO, N and O Scale junk as well.

More lies.... Some of you have had some detail parts on backorder for some
time. We have been rerunning parts and hope to be caught up in a month or
two.
