The car will be 70' long - quite a bit shorter than the real thing. A 90+ foot car will not look right on my layout and it was going to be too much work (it already is) to lengthen the silver screens.
The floor is trimmed-down Lionel with a lot of add-ons, the sides are the Lionel screens with modifications to the pillars. The sides and ladders on both sides of the screens are made of styrene stock. I'll have more information when I finish it and document the steps. The roof is the Lionel roof.
