A Roundhouse C&O peaked end gondola was my first "quality" piece of HO rolling stock in about 1975. I previously had Tyco only. The C&O gondola has been a favorite ever since. I have also painted some in O Scale further sealing the deal.
I hope Jim's current SR gondola proposal gets traction and goes off to production. Like the old gang of 100 I will wait until Jim gives the C&O gondola a serious push. I would hopefully get 2 and maybe 3 of them. The diversity of gondolas is needed in S and usually overshadowed by boxcars.
