Rich,
Hey, man, thanks for the kudos and support! Even in today's model market of RTR, there is still a decent demand for kits in HO, S and O (plus narrow gauge splinter groups). The reason I converted flat-cast kits to 1-piecers several years ago was to make them easier to assemble. The simple the kit to build, the more likely someone who's not sure of their skills will pick one up to try. He/she may not buy the CG ventilated box because the doors and myriad grab irons take some skill to assemble, but one of my SR flat car or low side gon kits would certainly be "buildable" using average skills. None of us are born knowing this stuff; we have to help each other by offering tips, tricks and suggestions. We MUST learn from each other 'cause no one else will teach us and trial 'n error can be VERY expensive! Jim King Smoky Mountain Model Works, Inc. Ph.
