Hi again Mike and thanks for the explanation. I wondered if a setting on your computer had jumped, and being the joker I am, I couldn't resist a hi-rail reference in my query. Good luck with the procedures. I'm sure it's no fun not being able to see clearly the fruits of our handiwork. Or more importantly, our loved ones.
Cheers
Jim

Jim,
thanks for the compliment on my layout, as it is no where as good as the
many of the layouts you all have done in scale, but it works. O
! It does have a
personality of its own.
I had no idea what I was doing in the beginning, as I had a basic track
plan and it went from there, as it has a commercial side and then the industrial
side. A mix of scale buildings, Plasticville and AF accessories,
which I think add interest to a non scale or mix up layout like mine.
Please forgive me on the large font, as I am blind in my left eye, detached
retina, in 2005, the retina is back on, but it keeps falling off, so after 8
surgeries, the eye is full of silicon gel, so I have really no vision in that
eye. My good eye is blurry, has been for 2 years, as the doctor
finally figured out,, I need a cataract surgery, which was done on the other eye
before. However, the gel in my other eye has to come out, because it
is breaking up, as that will happen on the 28th. I am hoping after 4 years
now, that the retina might stay where it is supposed to be and he wont have to
put the gel back in. And yes, the puns are, this might be the same stuff
used by women for you know what and yes I am getting a oil change.
O
! Once that is done, he
will do the cataract surgery on the other in March, so my font can go back to
normal.
And I just had a knee replacement last November! but that is doing
really well.
Sorry for the detail long email on the eyes and thanks again for the
compliment on the layout.
It was suppose to be in CTT as Roger Carp loves the layout and my ballast
which is from Classic Trains too, as it is real crush stone and in scale.
He said that the ballast makes the layout.

Hi Mike.
I like the neat presentation of your layout and the room it's
in. It all looks very professional and well laid out.
Also, I have to ask what font size you are using on your
e-mails....is it code 225?
Cheers
Jim Martin
