I did it on three AF passenger cars and oh my, what a difference. Before you go out and buy some exotic polish, please take this note from a guy who has probably polished a hundred of the things in his life. Any good chrome polish, such as whatever you have in your garage, will polish those cars to a virtual mirror finish. Put on a good thick coat, let it sit for a minute or two, then rub out the top with an old undershirt. The rib sides, take a soft toothbrush to it and clean it out while rubbing with the slats. Be prepared for a LOT of gray dirt to come off, but when you are through you will be able to see your fingerprints on the surface.
