Actually, I found Fred¹s explanation of the tag line quite interesting. I don¹t recall the exact details, but one of his ancestors was an ORIGINAL Minute Man before the Revolutionary War, a connection for which he is obviously, and justifiably quite proud.
Irrelevant to trains though, unless one uses a very large brush :) So, yes, John you are correct: It was not a political statement, merely an affirmation of his storied ancestry.
