All,

I purchased the Peco On30 turntable kit online (about $80 as I recall) a couple
of years ago. It built into a decent model. You have to re-gauge the track
width on the table to S specifications, as well as modify the current pick up
system to make it functional for S. I followed the method outlined by Bob
Hogan in his Dispatch article. After rectifying a problem with electrical
conductivity in one of the rails, the turntable works fine. It is small, as
Bob indicated (about 75 S scale feet, I think). It is located on my switching
layout that primarily uses diesel switch engines. It is possible that small
steam engines (Rex 0-6-0?) might fit on it. I would have to check. I turn it
manually (not motorized). It is a decent product, if you are looking for a
small turntable and is available).
