What with the recent talk of making S scale engines for a Pole Road, I just thought I'd post this link to a live steam S scale model. All that would be needed is a radio link to operate the throttle, reversing lever, and johnson bar.
Really, though, I''m wondering where this model may have gotten to, and if it is even still around. Anybody know? http://lhldigital.lindahall.org/cdm4/item_viewer.php?CISOROOT=/rrjournal&CISOPTR=7354&CISOBOX=1&REC=14 After you load the pdf, scroll down to page 539. The picture and article are both titled "The Very Smallest Locomotive". It operated on track of 7/8" gauge. I think that qualifies as S scale.
