This sounds interesting. If you could get the sides and roofs made, what would you use as a core kit? I am not sure how well the AM smoothsides will work. The Amfleet cars and the Metroliners have a unique shape. :Possibly splice New Haven "American Flyer" cars to make a core body? Or maybe make your own roofs out of wood? Would you design and make your own trucks?
