Hi Ken and Steve -- You guys have really done a LOT since the preconvention for Duluth! It’s a whole new railroad.
Sandie is gone this week, so I am hoping to get some significant progress made on the SLE&P / CCC. She can’t complain about the dining room table being full of coal transfer buildings under construction, and maybe the coaling tower will get some work done too... I did get some hopper car detailing done this week, putting SHS details on AM cars. Still a long way to go on this particular project! (8 more cars). Every part has to be modified to fit, or in the case of the car structural components, made from scratch. Have fun! Steve is modeling one of hundred of small yards around Chicago where railroads interchanged cars for local industries. I will post a couple photos. ... Ken Z.
