Why would anybody complain about a model locomotive painted in colors of an actual prototype locomotive it is patterned after? #8140 was a C30-7. I ran it on Santa Fe in both ATSF and SFSP colors.
When I was working for CC&P, we had ATSF #8055 in the locomotive consist of an E. Dubuque (IL) coal train. I was going to switch it to the lead so I could run it once more for "old time's sake", but it was restricted to booster service only. So, why couldn't Lionel to paint their excellent S scale rendition of the U33C in proper Santa Fe colors (choice of two), like they did with offerings for their other choices of roadnames?
