It is probably not the right model for you, save your money...  Buy a RRM 0-6-0 
<G>!  At least you asked some thoughtful modeling related questions rather than 
the general bloviating that appears to be accompanying this model on the group 
right now.

Ever considered a RRM 2-6-6-2?  When we built it the idea was for an S Scale 
Mallet that would run on 30" radius curves.
