Hi All;
As stated in the last post, we have put the whole group on moderated status.
We now find that some members were set to an un-moderated mode that overrides
the group setting, and the only way to find them is when they post! So there
will continue to be a trickle of messages until the whole list is locked down,
and Bill and I figure out the next step. This was a real surprise as messages
appeared without notice, while i had to approve my own Admin posts!
My point: if your message to the group doesn't appear, it's because the whole
group is now moderated, and Bill and I don't have time to release them as they
come in.
If someone's message does appear, it's not that they are specially favored.
They just were set incorrectly to override the group setting. This is a
learning experience for the moderators too.
