Thanks for the update Rich! This is great news!  Since there is only one of
each heritage unit on the U.P., it is the right thing to do and a smart move by
Lionel.  It will make the scale conversion easier not having to correct the
road number.  While out of my modeling era.....The M.P. unit and the S.P. unit
will make an appearance from time to time.  Living near the U.P. main to
Longview, TX and points north for a number of years, I was able to photograph
and video all of the U.P. heritage units at some point including the U.P. #4141
which is the George H. Bush Library unit.  These units sure do liven up the
normal Yellow Engine Parade...

Subject: {S-Scale List} Numbers Changed: Flyer Scale SD70ACe Heritage

For those who might be interested in the scale versions of the SD70ACe in the
UP heritage roadnames, the numbers WILL be changed to the correct prototype
numbers.

>From the Lionel facebook page:
"Catalog Correction: The American Flyer UP Heritage units are shown with
incorrect roadnumbers. The mistake was caused by artwork from an O Gauge
catalog. The actual models will have the correct, prototype numbers based on
the year the railroads were acquired by UP - not their founding dates as shown.
Thank you to all who wrote in and asked!"
