Earl,   The Archer rivet "transfers" are actual 3 dimensional decals. The 
rivets are resin "dots" properly spaced, evenly spaced, for various 
applications. They apply just like regular decals except they are designed to 
be applied before the paint. An excellent product that solves a lot of 
headaches in getting rivet impressions that look like rivets rather than an 
embossed rivet with the surrounding area deformed from making the embossing.
