From: Alan Lambert Lone Star Fyer Club Bob, Anything can be adapted to "S". Scale guys had to ( adapt HO Couplers at first) to have scale looking couplers. WE all adapt other HO to "S". It's not as hard s you think it is. Try using your wife's hair blower as a heat source. Works great. Works for me even though I am mostly Highrail for now.
