This is the first call for San Diego County layouts for layout tours scheduled for July 14 and August 11.
The July 14 tour will be for layouts generally in the south part of the county and the August 14 tour for the north part of the county. As always, these will be free, self-guided model railroad tours sponsored by my Yahoo group, Model Railroads of Southern California. The tours are designed to promote the hobby and allow layout owners to showcase their work. All owners need to do is operate their trains. I will do all the planning and publicity, as I have done for thirty-two prior tours since 2006.
