I bought sheets of .040" thick white styrene in 4' x 8' size from a Midwest distributor. At .040" thickness, they could roll the 5 sheets and fit into a small box for shipping; .060" would be too thick for this. The latest issue of the on-line mag, Model RR Hobbyist, has an extensive article on fitting in a paper mill on an HO layout . the author shows how he used styrene with Velcro strips for the backdrop.
