I've spoken with Jim King about getting some heap shields made for S scale
hopper cars. Jim currently makes these in HO so if we can get enough it will
be an easy go. So I've created a new poll asking how many you would need.

For those who don't know, heap shields are the metal extentions added to the
top of the end of the hopper car which all allows the hopper to carry more coal.
I belive Jim's HO heap shields are based on an L&N, Clinchfield, and TC 3 bay
prototype. I know the N&W used them. Unsure about other roads like the C&O.
This would be an easy detail to add on, just glue in place. If you're not an
absolute detail hound (ok if you are) then these could be used on two bay
hoppers as well.
I'm not 100% certain, but didn't the prototype Shabbona Railroad out in Iowa
use these? TIC about that.
