I'll even say wear a mask over your nose to keep  out those pesky micro fibers 
that you don't reallize get in there and cause later problems.
On the same note, always read safety notices.

Glass Wool, if I remember, can be hard on your hands. If it is the real thing 
made of "glass fibers" the tiny projections could go into your fingers. Maybe 
you should wear some sort of gloves just to be safe.

Glass wool, for sure, is the material of choice for removing various impurities 
in various scientific proceedures.
