Alan, Tuff question.
Mainline Modeler did several articles about Bill and his models. I don't have reference for all of them but per your request: GP30 January, February, March 1985 (Three part series) FM March, April (?) 1990 (Two part series) They also ran an article titled: A Modeler you should know (?) or something very similar to that. I'm sorry that I don't have a reference to that. Additionally Bill super-detailed an FP7 that I believe was in the S-Gaugian (may have made a cover shot?)and I think was also mentioned in NASG Magazine in 'late '80s sometime. The NASG Magazine in the mid '80s also carried an article or two about his GP30 winning an award Bill built one or two other engines, but my memory isn't that good this late in the day. Bill was also judging S modeling contests sometime in the `90s then we lost track of him. Take care of yourself my friend.
