I have a RRM Espee 4-8-2 here for DCC/sound installation. All speakers must be pointed up at the stack. That sometimes calls for some boiler weight reduction - in this case it was pretty minor. With my milling machine it was not only easy but it was fun!
http://www.lanestrains.com/Boiler_Weight_Milling.jpg The one thing you have to remember it this is "the Terminator" of machines. If you do something wrong it does not care. It does not stop cutting - ever. But the time you realize the error of your ways it has chomped that part off! In case you missed what the machine looks like it is here. http://www.lanestrains.com/My_Workshop.htm Thank You, Bill Lane Modeling the Mighty Pennsy & PRSL in 1957 in S Scale since 1988 See my finished models at: <http://www.lanestrains.com/> http://www.lanestrains.com Look at what has been made in PRR in S Scale!
