I have populated an entire train almost to" Christmas season capacity"
with a bag of the seated folks. I wish I would have kept the standing
people 'cause you can just cut off the legs and they will work on the
seats too.
Roy has done an excellent job on that whole scene--burger and fries for
me! Of course at that time of train travel it might have been more like
a bowl of soup and ham sandwich.
This is also a good opportunity to put some drivers in all those Hartoy
trucks we've purchased. I wacked off the legs of some of those more $$
Artista figures and regret that now. Of course it wasn't long before
Artista made a couple of figures for exactly that purpose too. If you
do decide to chop off the legs, keep them for positioning under cars at
at the corner gas station.

I have a set from the original production. They are worth while,
although you get a number of each pose. They are not as crisp as
Artista figures, but better than the ones that come with some of the
diecast cars. About on par with the old plasticville people, but smaller.
