It would be great if our dealers could stock these parts. I could use dozens
of the stirrup steps. They look great and would be a big improvement over what
most of my cars have now, but like Bob, I have too many projects on the front
burner right now, and I already have a pretty complete warehouse of S scale in
my basement.

      Hi Bob;

      How long have you been in S? :~}

      Has it EVER been a good idea to pass on a part you KNOW you will want for
a future project because "you can always buy it later"? Even if Jim "plans" to
stock the parts, there is no certainty that his plans will outlast your wait to
start the projects that need them.

      And, yes, I'm guilty of putting off purchases until too late myself.

        Jim, I see where your stirrups are molded from polypropylene. Where
does that stand in the durability area compared to ABS, Delrin and styrene
materials? And are you planning on keeping these as stock items? I don't need
any right now but certainly as I do more projects and if the durability is
there, they would be my choice.

          Below is the updated link showing 4 new items (in addition to the 2
stirrup steps). I just ordered the patterns for the Superior/Creco door,
roofwalk + corner platforms, PS brake platform and heap shield. If you’ve
already paid for steps but wish to include more items to save on shipping, let
me know ASAP. I have several stirrup step orders boxed and ready to drop in
the mail tomorrow but I’ll hold all until next week just to be sure.
