Hi Peter;

There are significant differences between the PRR car and the AAR design that
PRS modeled. The roof, ends and side sill are all quite different. The closest
steel car you can model are the X26c (rebuilt USRA single sheated) and the X29b
or d. All would require other parts (ends or roof).  Jerry Glow offers decals
for all three that you might be able to adapt to the X37.

    Hi Group,

      I just acquired my first PRS kit (yes, I'm still a relative
      newbie). I have been informed that the 1937 AAR steel box car kit
      is a close approximation to the Pennsy's X37 steel box car. Doing
      some research tonight, I think it indeed comes very close. I am
      now in search of S-scale decals for this model. I just sent an
      e-mail to Greg Komar. However, he doesn't have them listed on his
      site, so I'm not holding my breath.

      I am just curious to see if any of you have used this PRS kit for
      an X37 box car, and whose decals you used.

      Thank you for any leads,

       - Peter.
